Kidnapping, Ransom, and Extortion Program

In the event that an individual or company is victimized by a kidnapping, illegal detention, or extortion, CRI stands ready to provide expert guidance in determining the most appropriate crisis strategy to safely resolve the situation.  For this purpose, CRI has a global crisis response network of partners, who are on-call 24 hours per day.  Our professionals have extensive crisis incident response experience especially in troubled areas, including Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Far East.  We have successfully resolved more than 450 KR&E matters from every region of the world.

On-call Response Team
CRI has a 24-hour "Hotline" (703-359-3901) in the event that a company or individual requires assistance with a kidnapping, illegal detention, extortion or other crisis.

Our response team members provide advice to client's regarding communications with involved parties; liaison with in-country law enforcement (if appropriate); negotiation strategy; and explanation of the likely progression of events for these stressful matters.  CRI will conduct a threat assessment to determine if the victim's family or other corporate employees are threatened and, if so, arrange for adequate security for them and/or their family members.
